CameraLabs.com

As the days progress I slowly work myself towards the ever intoxicating Canon S5 IS. I found this website called http://cameralabs.com/. It has a review on just about any camera you could ever want. It's a very helpful site. A man by the name of Gordon Laing, who has a very cool British accent might I add, reveiws all the cameras in full. The good things about each camera and the faults of each camera are explained with the utmost deatail and usally sample images and settings are shown as well. So, for anyone reading this, I hope this site helps you out in picking the perfect camera for what you want to do.

Cavanaugh On Railroad

Its me again! Hello. So today I have a very cool picture for you. I feel this is one of the BEST photos I have taken yet. It just sorta' gives off a vibe doesn't it? I feel inspired to go out and take more photos whenever I see this one. The way the sun hits the lens and the way he has a leaned forward, concentrated walk and the way he is shadowed by the sun engulfing him makes this photo beautiful. I feel this photo really makes you examine it and think "Why is he walking the train tracks?" "Is he a lost and lonely soul, forever cursed to walk the tracks?" or "Is he trying to get away from the mundane tasks of life and live life free?" These are some of the questions I hope you ask yourselves. And not just about the photograph, think about your own lives. Are you stuck in a mundane cycle and need to break free? Well if you are, I have some advice. Walk train tracks and sunset. You'll see what I mean. So anyways I hope you liked it and check back soon for more photographs.

Somethings Wrong?

Alright so, I have a story for you. You all know how some of the greatest invwntions were made by accident right? Ex: Silly Putty or the Slinky. This photo is sort of like that. When I took it everything seemed to be fine (I wasn't looking at the LCD veiwfinder on the back of the camera) I was just glancing down at it from above so everything looked funny anyways. So I didn't think this photo was any diffrent than any of the others, but after I loaded my pictures onto my computer and started to browse through them I saw this one. I noticed it right away because of its green coloring so I enlarged it. I have no idea how it got to be the way it is; I'm taking a guess that the sun hit the iris a weird way and made it change. But anyways I hope you like it and if anyone has any idea how this happened I'd love to know. Thanks.

Skateboard+Sun=Beautiful

Hello Again! So, who here likes sunsets? I know I sure do. I'm always on the lookout for cool and beautiful sunsets. Also good locations to take them in. Like this photograph. It was taken on top of a bridge. The sun came gleaming through the holes in the chainlink fence and I just had to stop (I was on my skateboard at the time) and take some pictures. I got a lot of really good ones but I think this was one of the best.
The Reason I think this is one of the best is because the skateboard in the foreground is all cut up and scratched and there is some graffiti on the railing in the background. The sun however is shining through the holes in the chainlink fence looks beautiful in its descent towards the horizon. All this together gives the photo sort of complementary looks. The sun setting gives it a beautiful apearence while the skateboard and graffiti give it a modern and grity look. So anyways I really like this photo and I'd really like to hear your veiws on it as well. So please, feel free to comment.

New Photo

So like I promised, here's a new photograph. This photo was taken in a forest near my home. It was actually a un-posed photo. My friend and I were exploring for new photo locations and just sort of stumbled upon it. My friend decided to walk out along a tree branch to see if he could get any good vantage point shots and I decided to snap a few pictures while he did. This photograph was taken with a Sony Cybershot DSC-W35. I made this photo black and white because I thought it would add a gloomy effect to it. Anyways I hope you enjoy, and feel free to comment.
